ebuggy collaboration project receives funding.
The ebuggy collaboration project receives a grant from Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. ebuggy (www.ebuggy.eu) is a mobility concept that enables long-distance travel using electric cars.
It is made possible by a trailer-based range-extender that is hitched up for long-distance journeys and is returned after use.
The funded research project will develop and test a prototype power trailer. The trailer carries a powerful lithium-ion battery.
The EUR 1.2 m. project is being carried out by the high-technology companies AERA GmbH Muhlhausen Germany, BVB INNOVATE GMBH Stuttgart, Germany and Hoelle & Huettner AG, Tubingen, Germany and the ISW Institute of the University of Stuttgart. |
